Jones Brothers was a community-focused neighborhood restaurant and bar with deep familial and historical ties to Old Ballard in Seattle, Washington. Keeping in tradition with the original Jones Brothers Meats butcher shop once located on Ballard Ave, the new incarnation continued a family tradition of friendly service, integrity and quality that stretched back four generations.

Our goal was to create a logo and visual identity system that paid homage to the family butcher business. Inspiration came from classic block letter woodcut stamps and the signature pastime of one of the original Jones brothers, who commuted back and forth to Seattle weekly via seaplane from his favorite getaway on the peninsula.
